Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach for a part-time, hybrid contract role, working three days a week. In this position, you will engage with multiple teams across the organization, providing coaching on Agile principles and practices while enhancing the Agile capabilities of Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members. You will design and facilitate training sessions and workshops, ensuring that the Agile methodologies are effectively integrated and sustained within the teams.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on Agile principles and practices.
- Design and conduct training sessions and workshops to improve Agile understanding across teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as needed.
- Identify and help clear blockers in team processes through collaboration with stakeholders.
- Track team health and delivery metrics to drive practical improvements.
- Tailor coaching strategies based on the specific needs of teams, including Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering leads to ensure alignment of delivery practice with business goals.
- Establish a sustainable Agile framework that teams can maintain after the contract ends.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies, gained through practical application.
- An Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, ICP-ACC, or equivalent.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to constructively challenge teams.
- Experience in coaching both individuals and teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Availability to commit to three days per week for the duration of the contract.
- Exposure to scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) is a plus.
