Overview
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to support a global financial markets organization in a major data and platform transformation project. This role will involve leveraging AI and Generative AI to enhance developer productivity and streamline engineering processes, particularly in data migration and code generation. The contractor will work within a hybrid environment, collaborating with various teams to implement AI solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate the migration of data from Oracle to Microsoft-centric architecture.
- Apply AI and Generative AI to improve developer productivity.
- Deploy AI agents and assisted development tools in Azure.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to scale modern engineering practices.
- Enhance developer tooling for better engineering throughput.
- Support data migration initiatives leveraging Azure services.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an AI Engineer or similar role in data migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services including Cosmos DB and Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with Generative AI applications in software development.
- Familiarity with deploying AI agents and development tools in cloud environments.
- Understanding of modern engineering practices and tools.
