Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Solutions Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of large-scale AI solutions in a regulated financial services context. This hybrid role involves collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to shape AI strategies and deliver effective generative AI solutions, while ensuring compliance and governance standards are met. The contractor will leverage their strong software engineering background and AI expertise to lead architecture development and guide teams through the implementation process.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture for AI-native applications and platforms.
- Design generative AI, RAG, agentic workflow, and multi-agent orchestration solutions.
- Define patterns for AI integration with enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms.
- Guide model selection, prompt engineering, retrieval strategies, and evaluation processes.
- Establish reusable AI platform capabilities, including model gateways and orchestration services.
- Design cloud-native AI solutions on AWS using DevOps practices.
- Work with stakeholders to shape AI opportunities and solution approaches.
- Contribute to AI architecture standards, governance frameworks, and reference architectures.
Requirements
- Significant experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions.
- Strong software engineering background in Python, with Java as a plus.
- Proven experience with generative AI, RAG, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience in taking AI solutions from discovery to production deployment.
- Strong understanding of AI architecture, security, and cost optimization.
- Experience with vector databases, semantic search, and AI evaluation techniques.
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Deep understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, and model risk management.
