Overview
We are seeking an Analytics / BI Engineer to effectively utilize a newly developed data platform for practical reporting solutions within a large regulated organization undergoing a data and analytics transformation. The contractor will collaborate closely with teams to build user-friendly reporting and dashboards, modeling data for advanced analytics. The role incorporates the latest in data tooling and is set in a hybrid work environment, requiring occasional office presence in major UK cities.
Responsibilities
- Build reporting and dashboards in Power BI.
- Collaborate on reporting transition to the new data stack using Oracle Analytics Server.
- Model data for analytics purposes with dbt on Snowflake.
- Utilize Snowflake Cortex for AI-driven insights in reporting.
- Deliver analytics solutions leveraging Snowflake's capabilities.
- Explore AI-assisted tooling for enhanced analytics and modeling workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Power BI for reporting solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
- Strong SQL skills with practical dbt modeling experience.
- Experience in delivering analytics solutions on Snowflake.
- Familiarity with AI-supported tooling in analytics and modeling.
- Bonus: Experience with Snowflake Cortex and reporting in regulated sectors.
