Overview
The Application Developer will work on innovative projects that address complex technical challenges within a secure government program. With the opportunity to influence technical decisions and collaborate with end users, this role requires active DV Clearance and offers a chance to develop systems that have never been built before. The developer will work predominantly on site, contributing their expertise to foster a dynamic and effective development environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-level applications using Python or similar languages.
- Collaborate with end users to understand requirements and influence technical decisions.
- Implement task orchestration and workflow systems for robust application performance.
- Work with streaming and batch processing, as well as queueing systems, to optimize data workflows.
- Utilize Linux and remote systems to facilitate application development and deployment.
- Engage in continuous learning and apply new technologies to solve technical challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in enterprise-level programming (Python, Java, Ruby, Rust, or other OO/functional languages).
- Strong understanding of task orchestration, workflow systems, and ETL processes.
- Experience with streaming, batch processing, and queueing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Linux operating environments and remote system integration.
- Desirable knowledge of tools such as PyCharm, Streamlit, Prefect, RabbitMQ, AIOPika, asyncio, and pandas.
- Active DV Clearance is required for the role.
