Overview
We are seeking an experienced Application Packaging Engineer to lead the application packaging and conversion efforts for a new VDI/Intune platform at an enterprise level. This hybrid role will involve collaboration with a globally distributed team, focusing on automation tooling and packaging standards in a regulated environment, and ensuring high-quality application delivery to users.
Responsibilities
- Package applications for deployment using App Volumes, MSIX, and Intune Win32.
- Collaborate with the AccessIT Application Packager for volume packaging and tooling automation.
- Develop packaging standards, runbooks, and application integration plans.
- Support smoke testing, performance evaluation, and user acceptance testing of packaged applications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in application packaging at an enterprise scale.
- Eligibility to live and work in the specified work location.
- In-depth knowledge of App Volumes, MSIX, App-V, and Intune Win32 packaging.
- Experience with automated packaging tools such as AccessIT, Flexera AdminStudio, PACE Suite, or similar.
- Background in regulated industries such as financial services, government, or pharmaceuticals.
- Experience working in large, globally distributed organizations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in senior stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in the banking or finance sector is preferred.
