Overview
The DV-Cleared Application Support Engineer will join an on-site team focused on maintaining a managed cross-domain service within a site reliability engineering framework. The engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure service resilience, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while leveraging a diverse technology stack. This role requires active DV clearance and a proactive approach to incident management and system optimization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Java, Maven, and NPM.
- Configure and execute automated test suites with Maven and Cypress.
- Deploy services using Terraform and Ansible on OpenShift and Docker.
- Track service performance and configure alerts with Influx and Grafana.
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support, resolving issues and conducting root cause analysis.
- Automate tasks to reduce manual workload and improve service stability.
Requirements
- Active DV clearance is required.
- Experience in a managed service environment focused on service delivery.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Application development experience, particularly in Java or similar languages.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Git version control systems.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Influx and Grafana is preferred.
- Knowledge of RDBMS, such as Oracle, is a plus.
