Application Support Specialist

Overview

The Application Support Specialist will play a vital role in enhancing the production support capabilities for Electronic Quantitative Derivatives (EQD) trading applications at a leading global electronic trading firm. Working closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams, the specialist will be responsible for managing live incident escalations, performing system health checks, and ensuring the stability of revenue-critical systems. This position offers valuable exposure to trading operations and ownership of critical support responsibilities in a dynamic Fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Own production support for EQD trading applications.
• Act as an escalation point for live incidents and system issues.
• Perform system health checks, monitoring, and change management.
• Collaborate directly with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in trading or fintech application support.
• Strong Linux and command-line skills.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Solid SQL skills for investigation and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting production systems under pressure.
