Overview
The Applications Lead will oversee the administration, stability, and continuous improvement of core applications, including Dynamics CRM and the Microsoft 365 Suite. This role will operate autonomously to enhance application performance through both low-code and pro-code solutions, conducting research and proposing system improvements while ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams is essential for the effective governance and support of these systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the system administration and operational stability of core enterprise applications including Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing by researching emerging technologies and proposing enhancements.
- Ensure application configuration standards are established, maintained, and consistently applied across all systems.
- Manage the application change management process, ensuring all changes adhere to agreed scope and governance.
- Escalate risks, exceptions, and out-of-scope changes through the appropriate management channels.
- Provide technical direction and oversight to the application support and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Advanced technical capability across enterprise application platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and access control principles.
- Proficient in both low-code and pro-code solutions.
- Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing relationships with internal teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Advanced experience in administering and supporting enterprise applications such as CRM and collaboration platforms.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, Fabric, and Microsoft Graph.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services in an enterprise context.
