Overview
The Atlassian Specialist will focus on configuring and integrating Jira Service Management and Confluence to align with internal business processes. The contractor will engage with both internal and external teams to facilitate project-based delivery and provide support for the Atlassian suite, ensuring clarity through communication and training. This is a contract position that is fully remote, specifically for candidates based in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Configure Jira Service Management to support internal business processes.
- Integrate Jira and Confluence with other tools.
- Provide tier 2/3 support for issues related to the Atlassian suite.
- Introduce Jira to the business through effective communication and training.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on project-based delivery as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a Jira Consultant.
- Familiarity with Atlassian and Confluence.
- Understanding of Agile, ITIL, and/or DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX.
- Proven ability to design and manage complex workflows, permission schemes, and automations.
- Excellent communication skills.
