Overview
We are looking for a skilled AWS Engineer to join an innovative technology and cloud computing organization on a contract basis. In this role, you will design and implement AWS-based cloud infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and security. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable AWS-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into cloud architectures.
- Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Participate in security reviews and compliance activities related to cloud infrastructure.
- Document architectures, processes, and best practices for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience configuring and managing AWS cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Sound knowledge of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
