Overview
The Azure Lead Consultant will join a Professional Services Delivery team on a 6-month contract, focusing on Microsoft Azure solutions for clients. This role involves working directly with customers to scope, design, and implement secure cloud solutions, contributing technical expertise to digital transformation projects. The consultant will also engage in client workshops and collaborate with project managers to ensure project delivery meets quality and budget requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead client workshops in line with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
- Create low-level design documentation and migration plans.
- Deploy Microsoft Azure solutions across Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Support cloud assessments, migration planning, and landing zone configuration.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Stay updated on new Azure technologies and provide recommendations for standards improvement.
Requirements
- Strong background in Microsoft partner environments (consultancy or managed services).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering within the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Certified in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Administrator Associate, Solutions Architect, Network Engineer).
- Hands-on expertise with Azure services including Virtual Machines, Networking, SQL, and App Services.
- Knowledge of Azure security principles and Microsoft Defender suite is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
