Overview

The Azure Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting Azure platform services, leveraging strong skills in Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices. Working closely with stakeholders, this role focuses on delivering Azure PaaS solutions and implementing security and operational best practices. The engineer will support platform reliability and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a remote setup, while maintaining compliance in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Azure platform services.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep.
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Deliver Azure PaaS solutions such as App Services and Functions.
  • Implement security and governance best practices.
  • Support platform reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and drive delivery.
  • Contribute to technical standards and automation best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Azure Platform Engineering.
  • Proven expertise with Terraform and/or Bicep.
  • Excellent knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • Experience with Azure PaaS services deployment and support.
  • Familiarity with Azure Service Bus and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of Azure Functions, App Services, and Container Apps.
  • Experience with AKS/Kubernetes and DevSecOps in regulated environments.
