Overview
We are seeking an experienced Back End Developer to join our team on a 3-month contract, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid setup. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining a key e-Receipts data pipeline, while also supporting the creation and optimization of commercial data feeds to inform business decisions. Collaboration with the Product team and engineering leadership will be essential in delivering effective data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain the e-Receipts data pipeline.
- Support the creation and optimization of commercial data feeds.
- Extract and transform purchase data into structured formats.
- Collaborate with the Product team to deliver data solutions.
- Work with SQL, DBT, and Airflow to manage data workflows.
- Implement and maintain REST and gRPC APIs using Golang.
- Utilize Kubernetes and GCP for data processing tasks.
- Ensure effective communication with engineering teams.
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data manipulation.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and feeds.
- Familiarity with DBT and Airflow for data workflow management.
- Proficiency in Golang for API development.
- Understanding of Kubernetes and GCP for cloud data solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a data or backup engineering role.
