This Backend Engineer role focuses on building and enhancing key client-facing applications for a financial services firm in the FinTech payments sector. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with back-end engineers to deliver seamless integrations.
- Participate in design discussions to modernise legacy front-end components.
- Ensure code quality through testing and best practices.
- Work in a collaborative, cross-functional global team including QA, BA, and Dev.
- Contribute ideas to improve usability, scalability, and performance.
Requirements
- Expert in the latest versions of .NET Framework and .NET Core (C#).
- Experience in API (REST, GraphQL) design and development.
- Experience in relational database design and optimization (MSSQL, MySQL, etc.).
- Experience in the deployment and management of cloud assets (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Experience with end-to-end testing and agile practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Financial Services/FinTech experience.
