Overview
The Power BI Developer will join an established organization on an initial 6-month contract, focusing on delivering end-to-end Power BI solutions. Working within a hybrid model, the developer will collaborate with various business units to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights through effective visualizations and reporting. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a significant data modernization project.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end Power BI solutions.
- Create and optimize data models using DAX to support interactive dashboards.
- Extract, import, and transform data from Excel and other sources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple business units.
- Maintain interfaces with C# and AS/400 (IBM iSeries).
Requirements
- Proven experience in Power BI development and reporting.
- Strong skills in data modeling and DAX.
- Experience with interactive dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with enterprise reporting across multiple locations.
- Proficient in data extraction and transformation from Excel and spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of interfaces, specifically C# and AS/400 (IBM iSeries).
- Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into data-driven solutions.
