Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with deep expertise in MSCI Barra One and a solid understanding of investment operations and risk management. This critical role is part of a multi-year transformation program focused on consolidating investment portfolios for a major asset owner. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with various stakeholders including front office and risk teams to ensure effective implementation and alignment of the investment book of record.
Responsibilities
- Own key workstreams within the MSCI Barra One implementation project.
- Collaborate with the project manager and existing business analysts to validate the target operating model.
- Lead requirements definition and challenge assumptions to support solution design.
- Ensure the platform configuration aligns with endowment-style workflows and operational needs.
- Facilitate vendor configuration discussions and validate data flows.
- Shape the migration approach for accurate and scalable reporting.
- Work closely with technical teams to support integrations using Microsoft Fabric and Python.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within asset owner environments such as endowments or pension funds.
- Strong background in front-office and risk workflows, alongside investment policy.
- Hands-on experience with MSCI Barra One or comparable investment platforms.
- Familiarity with whole-fund book of record design and investment data models.
- In-depth understanding of risk and performance concepts.
