Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join an innovative renewable energy organization focused on advancing sustainable solutions through technology. In this hybrid role, the Business Analyst will collaborate with product, technology, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technology solutions while driving operational efficiency and enhancing customer experience. This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements from stakeholders across the organisation.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
- Work closely with Product Managers and engineering teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Analyse and optimise existing business processes to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to define priorities and project scope.
- Support solution design, ensuring technology aligns with business objectives.
- Assist with testing activities including SIT and UAT to ensure successful implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews and process enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering technology and digital transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working within Agile environments.
- Excellent requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, Jira or similar delivery tools.
- Previous experience within the renewable energy, utilities, sustainability or wider energy sector is highly advantageous.
- A commercially minded individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
