Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst on a contract basis to enhance middle and back office operations. This role is pivotal in connecting technology with business teams, focusing on refining operational processes related to cash management and collateral, while transitioning away from manual, Excel-based workflows. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to shape future operating models while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between technology and business stakeholders across middle and back office functions.
  • Lead workshops and meetings, driving alignment and documenting outcomes.
  • Map current processes and define future-state workflows and operating models.
  • Identify and document gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the transition away from Excel-based processes to more structured, scalable solutions.
  • Produce clear, visual documentation such as process flows and workflows.
  • Work closely with stakeholders in London, Bermuda, and Nashville.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within middle and/or back-office functions in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of cash management, collateral management, and related operational processes.
  • Experience working with manual, Excel-based workflows and transitioning to robust systems.
  • Ability to create process maps, target operating models, and workflow diagrams.
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and minimally documented processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with a capacity to influence across departments.
