Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a 6-month contract focused on delivering a secure and scalable data-sharing infrastructure within a major public-sector digital transformation programme. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to translate business needs into specified requirements, supporting the progression from concept through to pilot evaluation. The successful candidate will contribute to modernizing critical services by enhancing operational capability through integrated solutions.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
- Analyse and produce requirements and design artefacts such as user stories, use cases, and process maps.
- Define requirements for data discovery, access requests, and governance controls.
- Maintain requirements traceability to support Product Backlog prioritisation.
- Assist in system testing, User Acceptance Testing, and business readiness activities.
- Support pilot activities and business acceptance procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex digital and data platforms.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with Digital Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Knowledge of Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
- Experience in public sector or regulated industry solutions is desirable.
