Overview
The Business Analyst will support a key public sector client in a hybrid role, focusing on gathering and defining business requirements, mapping processes, and producing user stories for Agile delivery teams. They will collaborate with Product Owners and technical teams, ensuring successful end-to-end delivery in a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to facilitate stakeholder engagement and drive process improvements within a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
- Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes across complex systems and operational areas.
- Produce clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for Agile delivery teams.
- Work closely with Product Owners and technical teams to prioritize and refine backlogs.
- Support end-to-end delivery from discovery through to implementation and UAT.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to align business needs and technical solutions.
- Conduct impact assessments and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure requirements traceability and maintain high-quality documentation standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst within Agile environments.
- Proven track record in delivering digital transformation or system change projects.
- Experience mapping business processes (AS-IS / TO-BE).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience writing user stories, epics, and managing product backlogs.
- Familiarity with full SDLC from discovery to delivery.
- Ability to operate independently and quickly adapt in complex environments.
- Experience in public sector or regulated industry is beneficial.
