Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Business Analyst to support a KPI reporting and dashboard development project for an initial six-month assignment. The successful contractor will collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather and define the necessary KPI metrics for effective corporate reporting dashboards. This role is ideal for a delivery-focused individual with strong stakeholder engagement skills and recent experience in the social housing sector.
Responsibilities
- Engage with senior stakeholders to capture KPI, performance, and reporting requirements.
- Identify, assess, and document available data points and data sources.
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear dashboard and reporting requirements.
- Support the design of dashboard layouts, including wireframes and mock-ups.
- Present reporting concepts and information clearly to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with BI, data, or reporting teams to ensure requirements are understood and deliverable.
- Help define KPI measures, calculation logic, thresholds, and ownership.
- Identify gaps where required KPIs are not currently supported by available data.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on KPI reporting, dashboard, or management information projects.
- Recent experience working within the social housing sector.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with senior leaders and business owners.
- Experience gathering and documenting reporting, data, and dashboard requirements.
- Ability to assess available data points and understand how they support KPI reporting.
- Experience producing wireframes, mock-ups, or visual reporting concepts.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Good data literacy and confidence working with BI, reporting, or data teams.
