Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst for a contract role focusing on a significant digital transformation initiative within the retail sector. The successful candidate will collaborate with Agile teams, including Product Managers and Engineering teams, to define requirements and contribute to the development of innovative digital products aimed at enhancing customer engagement. This position offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, providing the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
- Support Product Owners in backlog refinement and prioritization.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings across various business functions.
- Map current and future state processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support UAT planning and ensure solutions align with business expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Agile software delivery environments.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in writing high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
- Experience with enterprise-scale digital transformation programmes.
- Previous experience in retail, eCommerce, or customer-facing digital products is highly desirable.
