Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in infrastructure and data centre operations for a 6-month contract with a financial startup. The successful candidate will gather requirements, analyze operational processes, and support various initiatives related to data centre infrastructure, collaborating closely with stakeholders across IT, facilities, and business units to enhance operational efficiency and planning.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders regarding data centre infrastructure needs.
- Translate high-level requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Support infrastructure planning and capacity assessments for power, cooling, and storage.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope and deliverables.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for effective service delivery.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs and operational metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data centre infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering and business process analysis.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and reporting software like Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and service management is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and documentation.
- Ability to interpret architectural diagrams and technical documentation.
