Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a core mortgage platform replatforming project within a major banking transformation programme. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate closely with technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating workshops and gathering requirements to ensure the successful delivery of business solutions. This is a hybrid position, requiring both on-site and remote work, within an established Digital team.
Responsibilities
- Run business and technical workshops with stakeholders.
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
- Produce high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and process documentation.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria as needed.
- Support solution design and collaborate with development teams throughout delivery.
- Facilitate backlog refinement and sprint planning activities.
- Support UAT and ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements
- Commercial experience as a Business Analyst.
- Recent experience with mortgage systems is essential.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in writing functional specifications and design documentation.
- Experience producing process maps and business documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Experience collaborating with software engineering teams.
