Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a global life sciences client on a 12-month remote contract. The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyse and document requirements, ensuring alignment with IT service management (ITSM) needs and best practices, particularly within the ServiceNow platform.
Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Lead workshops to elicit requirements and create user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions in collaboration with architects and developers.
- Ensure documentation is maintained across service catalogues, processes, and knowledge articles.
- Support testing activities and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous optimization initiatives.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
- Strong background in business analysis and requirements gathering.
- Experience in stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.
- Ability to create user stories and acceptance criteria effectively.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices related to ITSM processes.
- Experience in supporting UAT and testing activities.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and processes.
- Capability to identify and implement process improvements.
