Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to contribute to an applications project focused on enhancing existing core applications. The role involves collaborating closely with the Product Owner, Technical Team, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading workshops, documenting processes, and ensuring effective communication between technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Develop and maintain product backlog requirements.
- Create user stories and support Product Owners with backlog refinement.
- Facilitate and lead stakeholder workshops, review sessions, and product demonstrations.
- Develop customer journey maps and end-to-end process maps.
- Identify and define new business processes where gaps exist.
- Act as the bridge between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders.
- Support testing activities through the development of test scenarios and test scripts.
Requirements
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and analysis.
- Experience in user case and user story development.
- Proven ability in workshop facilitation and stakeholder management.
- Solid skills in customer journey mapping and business process improvement.
- Experience in Agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is desirable but not essential.
- Comfortable collaborating with technical teams without hands-on system configuration or development experience.
