Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Central (BC365) Data & Reporting Consultant to support a critical phase of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation project. In this hybrid role, the consultant will work closely with finance and IT teams to ensure successful data extraction, migration, and financial reporting, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the process. This position offers an immediate start and the possibility of extension based on project needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the extraction, cleansing, and migration of data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) into Business Central.
- Validate and reconcile financial and operational data throughout the migration process.
- Design and build robust financial reports within Business Central to support business and leadership reporting.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and implementation partners to ensure accurate data mapping and transformation.
- Support testing, UAT, and go-live activities, resolving any data-related issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data governance, and finance processes.
- Ensure best practices are followed across data migration, reporting, and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC365) implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), particularly data extraction and migration.
- Experience building financial reports within Business Central.
- Excellent understanding of finance processes, including General Ledger, AP, AR, and management reporting.
- Strong SQL, Excel, and data analysis skills.
- Experience working on ERP implementation or transformation programmes.
- Ability to engage confidently with finance stakeholders and third-party implementation partners.
