Overview
We are seeking a Business Change Consultant to support a major clinical systems deployment within a large Primary Care network. This role requires daily travel to various GP practices and offers the opportunity to work directly with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure the successful adoption of new clinical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NHS digital change and a user-focused approach to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Support rollout of clinical systems across a large network of GP Practices.
- Build positive relationships with GPs, Practice Managers, and practice staff.
- Identify barriers to adoption and collaborate with programme teams to resolve them.
- Escalate technical issues while maintaining presence as the local face of the programme.
- Translate programme objectives into practical support for end users.
- Deliver onsite deployment support during implementation.
- Assist users during go-live and provide early life support.
- Capture user feedback to enhance deployment and experience.
Requirements
- Experience in NHS Primary Care deployment (ESSENTIAL).
- Proven background in clinical systems implementation (e.g., EPR/EMIS, SystmOne, OrderComms, ePMA).
- Strong knowledge of business change or change management processes.
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives.
- Ability to provide go-live support effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
