Overview
The Business Data & Process Lead plays a vital role in supporting the Axial program within a leading biopharmaceutical organization focused on transforming its R&D processes. This position collaborates closely with teams in Global Project and Portfolio Management (GPPM), Finance, and Data Platforms to align business needs with technical delivery, ensuring data consistency and effective governance. The contractor will facilitate the development of end-to-end business processes and data flows that utilize advanced data platforms like Snowflake, contributing to the integration of a new Enterprise Resource Planning system.
Responsibilities
- Support the Global R&D deployment workstream to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a clear project roadmap for immediate and long-term priorities.
- Analyze existing processes to identify gaps and opportunities based on technology landscape.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders to capture requirements for project scope.
- Translate business needs into structured requirements for technical teams.
- Ensure alignment between business processes and data governance standards.
Requirements
- Considerable experience with business systems and data platforms, particularly Snowflake.
- Exposure to R&D systems such as Planisware (PLANIT).
- Experience in ERP transformation and business improvement using SAP.
- Strong business analysis experience and knowledge of analytics methodologies.
- Ability to lead initiatives across diverse geographic and cultural contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required.
