Overview
The Business Data & Process Lead will collaborate with a key client to support the Global R&D deployment workstream over a 12-month contract. The role focuses on developing business process improvements, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and translating business needs into structured requirements, all while working primarily on-site in Cambridge two days a week.
Responsibilities
- Support the Global R&D deployment workstream to ensure adherence to project timelines and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a clear roadmap addressing immediate priorities and long-term goals.
- Analyze existing processes to identify gaps and opportunities within the technology landscape.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to capture requirements and define end-to-end business processes and data flows.
- Translate business needs into structured requirements for technical teams.
- Support data product definitions and relevant transformations in collaboration with data product owners.
- Lead workshops to collect feedback and devise action plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Considerable experience with business systems and data platforms, specifically Snowflake and R&D tools such as Planisware.
- Experience in ERP transformation and Business Improvement, preferably with SAP.
- Strong business analysis experience and knowledge of analytics.
- Proven ability to lead projects across geographies and cultures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Desirable: Regulatory experience (e.g. GxP, SOx) and familiarity with Bio-Tech or Pharmaceutical sectors.
