Overview
We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role, involving three days a week in the Glasgow City Centre office. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including architects, developers, and testing teams, to define and implement strategic technology solutions, particularly within the realm of student finance services.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis across complex technical projects, eliciting and managing business requirements.
- Produce high-quality artefacts such as BRDs, Functional Specifications, and Process Maps.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions, managing changing scopes in dynamic environments.
- Support solution design and collaborate closely with development teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Develop and execute stakeholder communication plans, tracking actions and risks.
- Support testing, release planning, and implementation activities.
- Provide mentoring to junior analysts as needed.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis.
- 7+ years within technical delivery environments.
- Proven track record in business-critical transformation and integration projects.
- Extensive client-facing experience and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile/SCRUM delivery environments.
- Technical proficiency in tools like Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of APIs, data mapping, and cloud migration processes.
- Experience with government integration systems including HMRC and HMPO.
