Overview
The Mandarin-Speaking Business Systems Analyst will support a high-growth trading organization by acting as a liaison between business users in London and technology teams in Beijing. This newly created role focuses on investigating system and data issues, gathering requirements, and ensuring effective communication and coordination across various business-critical applications and data platforms. The candidate will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve system and data issues.
- Perform database queries to validate data and gather requirements.
- Support end users in utilizing business-critical applications.
- Coordinate with technical teams to drive issue resolution across multiple systems.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Assist with hands-on analysis and first-line investigations into system performance.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of system processes and functionalities.
- Maintain documentation related to system support and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Experience in Business Systems Analysis, Application Support, or similar roles.
- Proficient in querying databases and validating data.
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications and business-critical systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes.
- Experience in the trading or financial services industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems is beneficial.
