Overview
The Change Manager will play a critical role in the successful adoption of a new finance system within a Defence organisation undergoing significant transformation. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across the finance division, the Manager will assess organisational impacts and develop change management strategies to facilitate a smooth transition through various programme phases, including System Integration Testing. The position necessitates active SC Clearance and a willingness to obtain DV Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Assess and analyse the organisational impact of system implementation.
- Engage with finance stakeholders to understand current processes and future-state requirements.
- Develop and deliver change management strategies aligned with programme milestones.
- Support the transition from high-level design into the System Integration Testing phase.
- Identify risks and challenges associated with business change and adoption.
- Produce impact assessments, communication plans, and readiness assessments.
- Support training planning and business readiness activities.
- Collaborate closely with programme teams, including delivery, testing, and functional SMEs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Change Manager on large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong experience with finance teams or system implementations, ideally within finance environments.
- Ability to assess business processes and identify downstream impacts of system changes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, particularly within complex organisations.
- Experience working within Defence or secure environments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of change frameworks, methodologies, and governance.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Active SC Clearance and willingness to undergo DV Clearance.
