Overview
The Civil Works Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of civil and structural engineering activities for a clean technology project. Collaborating primarily with the Civil and Structural Lead, along with project specialists and designers, the successful candidate will ensure project quality and compliance with budget and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver civil engineering activities in accordance with project specifications.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities for civil works and structures.
- Produce material take-offs for steel structures using 3D modeling tools.
- Prepare technical documentation for subcontracted engineering activities.
- Develop drainage, sewage, and building plumbing layouts.
- Conduct foundation and concrete structure studies.
- Review and quality-check discipline and vendor documentation.
- Verify structural BIM models to meet OpenBIM practices and project requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Civil Works Engineer in Oil & Gas or Energy projects.
- BIM Coordinator certification.
- Strong knowledge of Eurocodes.
- Experience with Office 365, especially Excel.
- Proficiency in Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, SP3D, and Navisworks.
