Overview
As a Civil Work Engineer, you will be integral in delivering engineering and construction projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors. You will work closely with the Civil and Structural Lead and collaborate with Project Specialists and Designers to ensure project goals are met in compliance with quality, budget, and scheduling requirements. This contract role offers an opportunity to contribute to significant projects while promoting environmental sustainability and innovation in the field.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the achievement of assigned goals and fulfillment of quality and contractual requirements.
- Prepare detailed BOQ for civil works and buildings and MTO for steel structures using 3D model tools.
- Develop and document drainage, sewage system layout, and plumbing systems inside buildings.
- Conduct studies for foundations and concrete structures.
- Verify the structural BIM model against updated best practices and project requirements.
- Supervise and approve engineering designs and construction drawings for civil structures.
- Implement follow-up activities within the discipline.
- Provide support for field engineering at the site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Civil Work Engineer in oil & gas and energy projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Certification as a BIM Coordinator.
- Proficient in Eurocode.
- Strong IT skills, specifically in Office 365, including Excel, Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, SP3D, and Naviswork.
