Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable Commissioning Engineer to contribute to the successful delivery and integration of complex network projects. The role involves providing technical support throughout the design, build, and deployment phases, working closely with project engineers and other stakeholders to ensure effective network operation and compliance with specifications.
Responsibilities
- Review network designs, topology, and circuitry.
- Produce configuration scripts for a range of network devices.
- Support project delivery, commissioning, and integration activities.
- Monitor networks before, during, and after scheduled changes.
- Complete risk assessments and maintain network records.
- Provide technical support to Project Engineers.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.
- Experience in designing and supporting LAN and WAN solutions.
- Good understanding of Cisco IOS.
- Familiarity with SDH and PDH technologies.
- Knowledge of fibre, copper, leased lines, radio, and 4G.
- CCNA or CCDA certification.
- CCNP or CCDP certification would be advantageous but not essential.
