Overview

We are seeking a qualified Consolidation Accountant to support the implementation of SAP Group Reporting as part of a finance transformation program. In this role, you will integrate technical accounting expertise with system configuration to enhance the group's consolidation processes. Collaboration with finance and IT teams will be key to defining requirements, testing data, and ensuring a seamless transition to the new system.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to define requirements for SAP Group Reporting.
  • Assist in mapping legacy data to SAP Group Reporting and perform data validations.
  • Develop test scripts for consolidation scenarios, including multi-currency and complex group.
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document results to ensure accurate system outputs.
  • Document new consolidation processes and support the creation of training materials and user guides.
  • Provide hands-on support during the go-live phase and assist with initial reporting.
  • Troubleshoot issues post-implementation and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of group consolidation principles.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Group Reporting and/or SAP Financial Consolidation preferred.
  • Previous involvement in consolidation finance system implementation projects.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data validation techniques.
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
  • Understanding of intercompany eliminations and complex ownership structures.
  • Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
