Overview
We are seeking experienced Content Designers to join a specialist technology consultancy focusing on impactful digital services within the public sector. The successful candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver clear, user-centered content that enhances service delivery. There is an opportunity for engaging with private sector projects as well, contributing to a diverse range of digital landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with user researchers, interaction designers, and service designers to create accessible content.
- Translate policy and legal language into user-friendly digital services.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand content needs and decisions.
- Navigate style guides and maintain adherence to accessibility standards.
- Advocate for user needs in communication and content strategy.
- Utilize tools such as Figma, Google Docs, and GitHub in the content design process.
- Assess and integrate AI tools into content design practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a content designer in digital products and services.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Familiarity with brand and style guides, including GOV.UK.
- Experience collaborating with researchers, designers, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Google Docs, GitHub, and content management systems.
- Eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance.
- Willingness to travel to client sites a few times a month as required.
