Overview
The Control Systems Engineer will join a dynamic systems integration team focused on delivering automation solutions in the energy sector. This role involves both remote and on-site work, where the engineer will develop and commission Siemens-based control systems, handling projects from software development to site commissioning. The position is ideal for a candidate who thrives on technical challenges and enjoys multifaceted project involvement.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC software using Siemens TIA Portal.
- Configure Siemens HMI/SCADA systems as necessary.
- Produce and modify functional design specifications.
- Conduct software testing, including FAT and SAT activities.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues during commissioning.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specifications.
Requirements
- Strong experience programming Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1200/1500).
- Proven background in delivering industrial automation or process control projects.
- Experience commissioning PLC control systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
