Overview
We are seeking a Cyber Security Architect to join a defense modernization program on a contract basis. In this role, you will collaborate with Senior Security Architects and Digital Engineering stakeholders to develop security architecture artifacts and enhance the security posture of the program. The position requires hands-on experience in applied security architecture and compliance with secure-by-design principles, with a focus on delivering key security outputs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver core security architecture outputs including security artifacts and engagement reports.
- Develop security requirements specifications and a security principles framework.
- Create infrastructure mapping documents and security architecture design packs.
- Produce threat modelling reports and reusable security pattern libraries.
- Prepare knowledge transfer packs including training materials and recorded walkthroughs.
- Collaborate with Digital Engineering teams to ensure security integration.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Security Architecture or Security Consulting.
- Strong track record in designing and reviewing secure infrastructure.
- Proven experience applying secure-by-design principles.
- Familiarity with Digital Engineering and secure architectural controls.
- Active DV clearance is essential.
