Overview
The Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead will play a crucial role in enhancing the cyber defense capabilities of a large enterprise by focusing on intelligence-led security strategies. This position involves monitoring the evolving threat landscape, producing actionable intelligence, and collaborating with security teams to strengthen detection and response capabilities. The contractor will engage with technical and business stakeholders to deliver intelligence insights while also managing relationships with external intelligence providers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the organisation's Threat Intelligence capability.
- Monitor emerging cyber threats, campaigns and vulnerabilities.
- Produce tactical, operational and strategic intelligence reporting.
- Deliver intelligence briefings to both technical and senior business stakeholders.
- Support Security Operations and Incident Response with threat context.
- Improve vulnerability prioritisation through intelligence-led risk assessment.
- Work with Infrastructure, Cloud and Engineering teams to strengthen defensive controls.
- Manage relationships with external intelligence providers and industry communities.
Requirements
- Proven Cyber Threat Intelligence experience.
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK.
- Experience analysing threat actors, TTPs and Indicators of Compromise.
- Knowledge of OSINT and commercial threat intelligence platforms.
- Experience supporting Security Operations.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Enterprise cyber security experience.
- Desirable experience within Operational Technology (OT) environments.
