Overview
We are looking for a skilled D365 Business Central / Jet Reports Consultant to support a retail-focused implementation. In this role, the consultant will perform configuration, financial process support, and data management, specifically leveraging Jet Reports expertise. The position requires collaboration with finance teams and stakeholders to ensure proper system setup and reporting functionality, primarily in a remote working environment for UK-based professionals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver functional support and configuration within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for retail and finance operations.
- Work closely with finance teams to set up financial modules like general ledger, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation.
- Build and maintain Jet Reports to meet financial and operational reporting needs.
- Load and manage Configuration Packages to ensure data integrity during migration.
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for accurate system setup.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation reporting activities.
- Collaborate with stock, sales, purchasing, and finance teams for integrated processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Central Functional or Finance Consultant.
- Strong understanding of core financial processes within Business Central.
- Proficient in designing and delivering Jet Reports for financial and management reporting.
- Experience with Configuration Packages and data uploads.
- Familiarity with retail environments and relevant finance workflows.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
- Desirable: Understanding of stock accounting in Business Central.
- Desirable: Exposure to integrating Business Central with third-party platforms and familiarity with Power BI or Power Platform.
