Overview
We are looking for an experienced D365 Functional Consultant specializing in Advanced Warehousing to join a UK-based project on a contract basis. This role involves configuring and implementing advanced warehousing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and will require collaboration with client stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with related modules. The consultant will work on-site for three days a week, with remote work available for the remaining days, starting in January 2026.
Responsibilities
- Configure and implement Advanced Warehousing functionality in Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Design and optimise supply chain processes, including procurement, purchase orders, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Translate client requirements into functional solutions.
- Ensure integration with related modules, such as Finance and Projects.
- Provide hands-on configuration and troubleshooting support during implementation.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for client teams.
- Support go-live and post-implementation stabilisation.
Requirements
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations functional consulting.
- Proven expertise in Advanced Warehousing configuration and process design.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including procurement and inventory management.
- Familiarity with Finance and Project modules in Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
