Overview

The Data Analyst role focuses on analyzing performance data from job boards and paid media channels within a media agency setting. The successful contractor will work on transforming data into actionable insights and enhancing existing reporting processes by developing scalable dashboards and tracking frameworks. They will collaborate closely with stakeholders to provide analysis that informs recruitment campaigns and optimizes data strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio.
  • Analyse data from platforms such as Indeed, CV Library, Appcast, and paid social channels.
  • Deliver trend analysis and performance insights across recruitment campaigns.
  • Develop conversion and application funnels.
  • Integrate GA4 and paid media platforms into reporting frameworks.
  • Implement and manage UTM tracking and pixel tracking strategies.
  • Support post-rollout optimisation after initial campaign launches.
  • Create repeatable dashboard templates for use across multiple clients.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
  • Proven experience using Looker Studio for dashboard creation.
  • Understanding of UTM tracking strategies and pixel tracking.
  • Experience working with paid media data (paid social, Google Ads).
  • Ability to design scalable, automated reporting solutions.
  • Confident taking ownership of projects end-to-end.
  • Experience within a media agency or recruitment marketing environment is highly desirable.
