Overview
We are seeking a Contract Data & Performance Analyst to assist a major Central Government department through a leading digital consultancy. The successful candidate will engage in building diverse analytics solutions and insights, working primarily with Power BI and Google Analytics while collaborating with an agile delivery team. This hybrid role requires minimal on-site presence, allowing for flexibility in work location.
Responsibilities
- Build and refine complex dashboards using Power BI to support strategic data-driven decision making.
- Track and analyze user journeys, web traffic, and digital service performance with Google Analytics (GA4).
- Translate complex data findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with agile delivery teams following Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
- Query, manipulate, and extract data using SQL for reporting purposes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data solutions and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience working within Government Digital Service (GDS) guidelines.
- Strong SQL skills for effective data querying and manipulation.
- Expertise in building data models and visualizations using Power BI.
- Experience with Google Analytics / GA4 for digital performance analysis.
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies in a public sector context.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights clearly.
