Overview
We are looking for a Senior Commercial Data Analyst to join a pre-opening luxury hospitality destination in London. In this role, you will be the first dedicated data hire, closely collaborating with the senior leadership team to drive commercial insights across various revenue streams, including accommodation, food and beverage, and events. You will play a crucial role in establishing the data capability of the business as it prepares for its launch in 2026.
Responsibilities
- Develop guest segmentation across hotel and residence customers to support marketing activities.
- Analyse residential sales pipelines, including conversion rates and sales velocity.
- Deliver ad hoc commercial analysis across pricing, menu performance, and spa utilisation.
- Establish consistent revenue definitions and reporting standards across multiple systems.
- Produce weekly executive trading reports covering key commercial metrics.
- Partner closely with Finance, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to provide insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Strong commercial analytical experience, ideally within hospitality or a customer-led business.
- Ability to translate data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Experience in customer segmentation, CRM analytics, and sales pipeline analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Advanced skills in Excel and SQL.
- Experience with hospitality systems, particularly cloud-based property management systems.
