Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a contract position, focused on developing and shaping the data capabilities of a customer-centric retail and hospitality business. The contractor will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive commercial decision-making by analyzing key data sourced from various operational systems. This role presents a unique opportunity to build a reporting environment from the ground up and make a significant impact on the organization's data strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer segmentation models to enhance marketing efforts.
- Analyze sales performance metrics, including pipeline conversion and lead source effectiveness.
- Establish consistent revenue definitions and reporting standards across various business units.
- Produce weekly executive trading reports and performance dashboards for key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver actionable insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve data reporting processes and data quality.
- Help shape the future data and reporting capabilities of the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst with a strong commercial analytics background.
- Exceptional SQL and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Familiarity with customer segmentation, CRM analytics, and sales pipeline analysis.
- Ability to effectively communicate insights to senior leadership teams.
- Experience working with property management systems and point-of-sale systems.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
