Overview
The role of Data Architect involves providing consultancy services to support a data strategy project aimed at facilitating mergers and acquisitions for an end client. The contractor will work closely with stakeholders to design and implement a robust data architecture that simplifies the onboarding and offboarding of businesses, ensuring a strong alignment with the client's evolving data needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive data strategy aligned with client objectives.
- Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define API strategy and specifications.
- Establish ownership and responsibility for data storage and operational flows.
- Advise on data contracting best practices for M&A activities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to enhance project delivery.
- Support the planning and, potentially, the execution phases of the project.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Architect in consultancy roles.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end data architecture principles.
- Expertise in Databricks, Azure, and Snowflake.
- Experience in defining API strategies and specifications.
- Familiarity with data contracting processes for M&A, particularly onboarding and offboarding.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Additional experience in wealth management or related data domains is a plus.
