Overview
This role for a Data Architect/Analytics Engineer focuses on establishing a scalable business reporting and analytics capability within a growing organization. The successful contractor will work collaboratively with various departments, including Sales and Finance, to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure the delivery of accurate, automated business intelligence solutions using Power BI. They will be instrumental in transforming reporting processes to enable senior leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions using Power BI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine KPIs that measure business success.
- Automate the reporting process to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Gather and analyze business requirements to create effective reporting frameworks.
- Establish standards for data governance and reporting quality across departments.
- Deliver executive dashboards that enhance visibility into performance metrics.
- Work with technical teams to ensure data captured is accurate and actionable.
- Evolve the reporting capability in alignment with business growth and needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Power BI and delivery of analytics solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to gather and challenge requirements.
- Experience in defining meaningful KPIs for performance measurement.
- Ability to design executive dashboards for visibility across various metrics.
- Familiarity with data governance best practices and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills to ensure data quality and insight generation.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of business processes within Sales and Operations.
